Fern Cottage is now closed

Fern Cottage is closing after 12 years of sharing it's view of the Jackson river Valley and the peace and quiet of Highland County. We want to say THANK YOU for the opportunity we have had to meet so many wonderful people from across our country, and around the world, and to share our corner of this world with you.

Our Best to all of you!

"[ Fern Cottage] is a place of abundance which restores and rejuvenates."

stargazing (the Garden Room is available for larger groups).

table for two During the summer, temperatures are warm during the day and cool at night. The lack of light pollution in the night sky and the absence of mosquitoes add to the joy of stargazing. The natural beauty, comfort, peace and privacy offer a welcome retreat.
